Karaoke revolution

[thumb:427:l][thumb:428:r] Stan got a copy of Karaoke revolution. It lets you scan in your face with the eyetoy camera and then it maps it to an onscreen character who’s lips move to the sound of your voice and everything. ANyway, if you make a goofy face and then map that to the game, it can be super-awesome. there’s me with a faux hawk and leopard jacket. and there’s actual me on the big screen in the background. Fun. I guess you can hook the dance dance revolution mat into it to and dance along to the song as you sing.

Entirely useful

[image:426:r]Mom’s camera is full of useful features. I mean, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said to myself “Darn these normal cameras, if only you could superimpose an ugly rhinestone and satin border around any image, in-camera, at the touch of a button.” Now I can… now I can.[newline]

Election

[image:425:l] So I’ve been watching the election results on CBC’s site. I can’t believe how perfect all the pictures they chose for the leaders were. All in all it looks pretty good to me. only thing I’m worried about is, I doubt the conservatives will even make it through a budget, So hopefully voters aren’t retarded next round and do something like go “Another election? already? Curse those darned liberals/NDP/Bloc I’m voting conservative.”

What do you figure? I say, Accountability act goes through, and maybe they get the GST down to 6% then the budget hits and that’s all she wrote for this minority government, however it goes. Anyone wanna give me some odds on that? What’s your call? Does Gay Marriage get brought to the vote? My conservative friends assure me there is no agenda to revisit gay marriage as if a private members bill somehow isn’t revisiting gay marriage. Anyway… do they do it right away? place your bets people.

Waterproof camera

[image:424:l] Mom bought a Pentax WPi waterproof camera so I had to test it out. Eyes look really weird underwater. They don’t have that wet sheen to them so they look dead.[newline]

Leon Benoit

[image:423:l] Leon Benoit sent me this informative pamphlet in the mail.

“under the liberals the gst burden on ordinary, hard-working canadians has doubled from $15.9 billion to $31.8″

do YOU remember the liberals hiking the gst to 14 percent? cause I sure don’t. Unless he’s blaming the liberals for the strong economy? CURSE THOSE BASTARDS

“Meanwhile, excess tax leads to massive suprpluses–$63 billion during the last eight years with $55 billion more projected over the next six”

Remember, Surpluses are bad. Maybe someone should tell his party to stop talking about how big thier projected surpluses are going to be under their budget.

“Cut the GST from 7% to 5% which means more of your money left in your pockets”
(for us to take when we simultaneously raise income tax.)

“provide a tax credit–to a maximum of $500 per child– for children under 16 registered in sports activities;”

FUCK YOU KIDS WHO LIKE TO READ AND SHIT.

__

Gregg: HAHA! that’s hilarious I love their mentality that if we have surpluses everyone should get a tax break. Why? Why not take that money and put it somewhere we need it . . . like, i don’t know, health care maybe?

Dean: because gregg, if people have less taxes the fucking queers will stop putting cocks in their butts.

Gregg: Yup, and they’ll stop turning ordinary, missionary, christian males into homosexuals and marrying them.

Dean: You know what we need? more military presence in cities so we can storm the bathouses whenever the Gaydar sees a surge in faggotry.

Gregg: We also need satellites to identify, target and destroy possible homosexual strongholds

Dean: And ground based missile systems to takedown any incoming airborn ICBMs from sissy marys.

Leave the gun, Take the Canoli

Filed under: Uncategorized — dean @ 12:45 am

So, Scott in a fit of Sicilian passion, purchased, the Godfather, Scarface and Goodfellas. Tonight we watched Godfather. In my quest to watch all of the essential films I’d tried a couple times before to watch Godfather but literally. LITERALLY fell asleep before brando was finished his first speech. Now that I’ve finally actually seen it, I’ve got one thing to say about it. MAN IS IT EVER ORANGE. What’s up with that? Is it just the filmstock from 1972 that had the film looking like an orchard with guns? Was that intentional? foreshadowing the whole orchard scene? was it a bad transfer produced by some crazy Digital Orangization Deviceā„¢?

Whatever the answer. Good film. We especially enjoyed the Sinatra digs.
