To top if off, My Fish Spot died this weekend too. He was a good fish. I caught him in a pepsi bottle up at Whitney Lakes Provincial Park. (Ross Lake I think.)
He was a spottailed shiner, which meant he had a little spot on his tail which you can’t see in this picture. Hence his name. Lived just over a year. I’ll miss you spot.

Debilitating Abdominal Pain

Just so you folks have the scoop, not cause I think it’s interesting reading. 2 days ago I got a sudden stabbing pain in my lower right abdominal area. First thing to spring to mind was “crap… appendix” So I waited it out for the night then after much nagging from Steph and Nessa I popped into the hospital to make sure I wouldn’t die.

Doc said “not your appendix, does this hurt?”
Me: “nope”
Doc:”not your liver or your gall bladder either then. Probably just some abdominal wall pain. Come back if you start puking or you get a fever.”
Me:”Good enough for me. seeya.”

So after warding off the pleas of “maybe he’s wrong go get a second opinion.” from my 1.5 roommates and hobbling around the house for a day and deciding to sleep on the couch so I didn’t have to navigate the stairs to hit the washroom. The pain’s still there.

I got Gregg to drive nessa home on his way back to the city this afternoon, so I didn’t have to make the trek (thanks buddy.) and I think I’ll sleep on it again and see how I’m doing when I get up. If it’s worse I’ll hit the regular type doctor’s office tomorrow and see you in six to eight weeks when I make it in past the gauntlet of old folks hanging out at the doctor’s office just to socialize with their Doctor pal.

Man… I can’t wait for all those livejournal type bloggers to get really old and instead of boring stories of how depressed they are, I can read boring stories of all their various aches and pains.
