I completely forgot the word “whose” for awhile. I’d been using “who’s”. weeeeird.

In Case you Didn’t know… it’s..
Hava nagila, hava nagila, hava nagila
“venis mecha”
now you know, there’s a bunch of different stuff… but I figure we can probably get away with just repeating this verse over and over again. The Venis Mecha part was the sticking point for me.

Is the gag of having a home voicemail system for the very few calls I get in a month worth $200? That is my dilemma.

I hate the idea of cellphones. I don’t need to make myself accessible everywhere I go, if I’m out of the house, chances are I don’t want to hear from anyone. Outgoing calls are another thing I guess… but thankfully there are still payphones out there in the the wired wild world. (for the moment).
Anyway, looking at my phonebill this month, It’s about $35 for just basic phone service these days. you know how much I use my phone? I’m guessing an hour per month of quick calls to mom and dad.
If it wasn’t for the fact that I’d have to get them to run cable into the house to switch internet service plans. it would be cheaper and smarter for me to just buck up and buy a stupid cellphone. Skype (or some other voice over IP service) is another viable option. I actually like that idea more than anything, but they still don’t have a feasible way for people to dial to me as far as I can tell. Right now, the best setup they have is that you have to dial long distance to edmonton for the moment. kinda kludgey.
Anyway, all that aside, I”ve been eyeing this phone for awhile because I think the design is the sex. if this little number comes up to Canada. I’m going Cellular.

anyone want to help me write a book called
“How to escape from a desert island”
I figure if we make it passably funny and have some workable-on-paper schemes for escaping it would get a lot of word of mouth when people ask the age old question, “if you were stranded on a desert island and you could only take one book, what would it be?”
