There\’s just something so very right about a system with a switch for \”Color / Black and White\” televisions.

Yup, this is the Autofill Atari.

The Scale

Filed under: That is my Story... — Dean Welsh @ 7:40 am

I was on the phone with someone, You might be able to guess who (not Scott though in case that’s your first thought.)

X: What are you doing?
Dean: I’m pouring a glass of water and spying on the neighbour girl in her back yard.
X: Neighbour girl eh? How is she?
Dean: How is she? In what respect?
X: In any respect.
Dean: She seemed nice from the one time I talked to her. I’m sure she’s just fine.
X: Well… On a scale of 1-10 how FINE is she?
Dean: Well, on a scale of one to ten! I’d say she’s definately at least 11…
X:ELEVEN? Why didn’t you tell me you had a fox for a neighbour, I’d come visit more often!
Dean:… Years Old.
X: Nevermind. I’m hanging up now.

CSIS

Filed under: Miscellaneous — Dean Welsh @ 5:47 am

Just thought this was interesting.

That\’s the crest of CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service)

CSIS\’s Job is Counter-intelligence. Basically, they keep too many people from spying on Canada\’s junk. They don\’t really actively go out spying on Liechtenstein or Zimbabwe or whoever. Anyway, bearing this in mind, I think it\’s kind of odd that thier logo looks like Canada\’s out sticking it\’s blue pointy fingers into everyone else\’s business with the watchful protection of British royalty.

Something tells me the company that makes the supercheap wireless lapel microphones I bought on ebay primarily pedals their wares to churches.

What do you think?

I like that they\’re \”Super Professional\” Can\’t go wrong with Super Professional sound that you spent an entire $10 bucks on. I always say.

Ok… So Maybe I don\’t always say that. but you get the idea.
)))))))))))))))))))))))
hmmm…..
(I see an IP address that corresponds to Korea… I wonder who that could be.)
HI MEGS AND RUSSYPOO! (that\’s your new name now cause I can never remember if Russell has one L or two.)

Stupid autofill

Filed under: Miscellaneous — Dean Welsh @ 3:54 am

I tried to bid 8 bucks on an atari on ebay. Autofill on my browser filled in \”81\”.

It finally ended up going for $31.65.

Just wanted to complain.

I did get a nice original atari box out of the deal.

Mmmm Vegetables

Filed under: Miscellaneous — Dean Welsh @ 1:20 am

I have a garden now.

Dad came by with a rototiller and helped me till up a chunk of land.
Steph\’s mom donated a bunch of Garden tools to us.
Grandma brought a few more garden tools by along with a big box of random extra seeds from her garden and helped me plant them.

I will endeavor to keep it weed free and well watered.

Thanks to you all.

Long weekends

Filed under: That is my Story... — Dean Welsh @ 3:56 am

Being a fellow who has the luxury of not knowing what the date is from day to day, I find it interesting to note that I always know when a long weekend rolls around. The simple telltale signal that there\’s a long weekend? I get no sleep for that period of time. Not that I\’m complaining mind you, It\’s cool getting to see everyone and knowing people are thinking of me on their day off to the point that they\’d want to call to say \”hi Dean, so what are your plans for this joyous long weekend?\” (as though I ever have any thought out plans before the moment strikes.) It\’s just one of those oddities in my life that probably don\’t afflict others in similar ways.
