\”Mellifluous\” means that something flows sweetly or smoothly. So, to add to Dave\’s example from last week.

This is a general life update for the folks and for friends, if you read this page purely for entertainment purposes, there\’s less excitement in this post than usual.

I was up in Edmonton for the weekend. Scott and I were going to do the Karaoke thing, but it didn\’t pan out. So we just played some poker and asshole and stuff at Gregg and Jeremy\’s. I got to sleep over with Megan and Russell at their place, that was keen. I listened to a few of the commentary tracks on the Lord of the Rings DVDs. Everyone paid me! So, if I owe you money for dinner or something hit me up right now before I blow it on some frivolous thing like \”well… we don\’t need all this cash let\’s just dump it against Steph\’s student loan\” or something like that.

I\’ll be back up in the city again sometime this week. Steph gets to go to court as a witness from the time she got punched in the eye a few years ago. Whee.

I\’m almost completely chewed through this chunk of flats I had to do. Right on.

I think that people are basically lazy. Given the choice of \”right\”, \”wrong\”, and \”nap\” I think most people will choose nap. We take the path of least resistance.

Someone accused me of using a thesaurus for my posts recently. At first I wasn\’t sure whether I should take it as a compliment to my vocabulary, or as a proof that I should be dumbing down the language a bit. Now, I think it\’s time to add a new feature for my blog.

Did you know that pulchritude means \”beauty\”?
I think that\’s totally great, considering how pulchritude sounds antonymous to beauty.

I helped Gregg set up a movable type installation on Dead-beef.
Movable type rocks.

Other than that, I\’ve been flatting and setting up a lineart Download database script for GutterZombie. Fun stuff.

There are a lot of bowls on my desk. Now, these are different bowls than the ones I mentioned in an earlier post I assure you. But there are stacks of dirty dishes here I have to haul downstairs now, woe.

OH! I wrote an applescript that sends Dave McCaig an iChat instant message. When I run it \”Damn you Dave McCaig\” pops up on his screen. Then! I revised it, NOW when I run the application, it sends Dave \”Damn you Dave McCaig!\” note the enhanced feature set that DamnYouDave 2.0 has. Highlights include;
-Exclamation point.

I think I\’ve got a career as a programmer ahead of me.

The kicker of all this is that I tied the script into my Powermate so whenever I press down on the dial, DamnYouDave 2.0 activates and fun is sent in electronic form to L.A. c/o Dave\’s computer.
